The following licenses are required if you want to use this integration:

  • User License Office 365
  • User License Business Central
The integration itself does not include any licenses
  • 'Open in Excel' is available by default and works on both Windows and macOS
  • 'Edit in Excel' works on Windows, not on macOS
  • For Business Central on-premises, the 'Edit in Excel' action is only available if the Excel add-in has been configured by your administrator, and only available for the Web client

Open and edit data from

With pages that display a list of records in rows and columns, like a list of customers, sale orders, or invoices, you can also view the records using Excel

Open a list in Excel, respecting any filters on the page that limit the records shown
